The degree of difficulty is not too high given that the shape is fairly straightforward. An advantage of making one yourself is that you can have fun with it and make a novelty or funny style curtain if you would like.

Wide shower curtains are even considered to be the defining feature of the bathroom and an important decor accessory. It is also imperative that it keeps water exactly where it is supposed to be, as well as help prevent leaks that may cause further damage.
