Options For Your Bathroom Shower Enclosures

Bathroom Shower EnclosuresAdding a shower enclosure to your bathroom brings immediate style and class. With dazzling glass panels which assist in reflecting both natural and artificial light, your bathroom space is made to feel more spacious and luxurious. A shower enclosure can fit into almost any bathroom, so there is sure to be one out there to fit your home beautifully. Whether this means choosing a corner shower enclosure, or a small one with a bi-fold door, there are always options available. Adding a shower bath gives you the best of both worlds. It allows you to have the choice between a relaxing, calming bath and an awakening shower.

Before installing a shower enclosure in your bathroom, there a few important factors to remember. Firstly, does your bathroom have a high enough water pressure? Your new shower will not work to its full potential if at all. Secondly, if you already have a shower enclosure installed and you are replacing an existing one, and to save yourself time and money, keep the enclosure in the same place as the old one. This way, you will not need extra plumbing work for water access to the new enclosure.

Next you need to decide on how big your enclosure is going to be. Luckily, sizes are relatively flexible and you can choose the shower that best fits the space rather than the other way around. Once you have measured out the space you are going to dedicate to your enclosure, then you can begin choosing the perfect enclosure for your bathroom. Shower enclosures come in a wide range of sizes too. Choose from cubicles, rectangular, quadrant or even bow-fronted enclosures to add a touch of luxury to your bathroom.

You also need to choose which kind of door you want with your enclosure. They come with a wide variety of doors so you can choose the one that firstly suits your space best and secondly co-ordinates with your bathroom. If space is at a premium, then opting for a bi-fold or sliding door will save you floor space outside of the enclosure. Bi-fold doors fold in on themselves when entering and exiting the enclosure like the name suggests. They minimize the showering space but don’t intrude into your precious bathroom area. Sliding doors are also non-intrusive to your bathroom but also your enclosure as well. Pivot and hinged doors open outwards and offer the widest opening possible for your shower. It is important to make sure that you have enough space available for the door to fully open.
