Ways To Remove Bed Bug Larvae

Remove Bed Bug LarvaeA bed bug starts its life inside an egg. When the egg hatches it spits out tiny creatures called larvae. These new beings are alive and they can crawl to search for food and a place to hide after feeding. Because of their fragile and weak condition, these nymphs have to feed at least once in every twenty-four hours. If you have never ever dealt with the bed bugs menace there is a lot you may not know about their genetics. A female bug is very fertile as it is able to produce five hundred eggs at a time.

You can imagine how many little vampires are likely to come out of 500 hundred eggs. What is more, if the current generation has many females they can produce thousands of eggs simultaneously. If all the five hundred eggs hatch, you can now see yourself being the dinner for the larvae every night. These little creatures are even greedy than the adults. They are often thirsty for your blood because they want to grow up and survive.

Once the female pest spawns, the nymphs will develop in the shells for twelve days. After that the shells break out releasing very tiny crawlies that do not crave the attention of their mother. They are born aware of their sources of food and they are set to find it at their tender age. If a nymph does not find your blood vessels it can die quickly. Usually, larvae are easy to identify because of their clear color.

They attain the color of the adults when they start feeding regularly. There are pictures you could use on the internet that can help reveal the appearances of these tiny insects. They are transparent and the blood is clearly seen inside the belly. Before they can turn into more drought resistant adults, bed-bug larvae go through five phases of growth. They can be adults in about forty five days as long as the feeding process is constant.

If you find them before they become adults do it now. Once they mature, the females of the new generation will procreate more. Batches of five hundred eggs per healthy female could help propagate an even larger generation. You need to act as soon as you spot the nymph. What actions can you take? First, you need to have your bed bug bites checked by the doctor just in case they are giving you headaches. Next, you should come up with a very good plan of exterminating these crawlies.

First, try to examine the infestation to approximate its severity. Sometimes it is difficult to eliminate adults, larva and eggs completely without seeking outside help. If you think that the situation under your roof is terrible you should seek help from a pest controller. The cost of hiring may be high but when the bed bug infestation is extremely severe you do not have a choice. However, if you are determined to eliminate them personally there are many products you can order and use. Be sure to be very methodical as you try to eradicate bed bug invasions.
